“David please come back in the car.” Lisa begged him, she was scared. She didn’t think that her boyfriend would stop in the middle of nowhere. The young blond wasn’t happy at him.
“I can’t until I find that girl, I saw her Lisa.”
She rolled her eyes, and held her purse. She was irritated with him, first they were in no mans land and who knows what could happen. It felt like a Friday the 13th film, where the stupid people get out of there car, go in the forest, and then Jason kills them. That was what could happen to David, she tried to let go of the thought but it kept in her mind.
Her black haired boyfriend came back to the driver’s side of the car and smiled, “Lisa I know I sound crazy but I think I could have ran her over.”
“You didn’t run her over, I saw her too, but she went in…” She stopped and stared at the abandoned farm house, that wasn’t too far from them.
“Oh I never figured she was in there.” David shrugged and motioned her to stay but she left anyway.
The farmhouse missed a door and the windows were pretty dusty, and you couldn’t see out of them. The smell of mice crap and mildew was strong. Lisa held her breath for a moment, she couldn’t stand the smell. It didn’t bother David, he just kept his pace.
They were in the living room or what looked like it, the furniture was in tough shape, and the only décor was a picture of a young woman in a bonnet. Lisa had a bad feeling, but kept it to herself. David would just tell her she was overreacting. Sometimes she did but now something really did bother her.
“Hey Lisa look at this, an old diary.” He tossed a torn leather bound book to her. The name on it was Mary Lee.
She caught it and opened the first page, “Interesting, there’s only one page. I guess she didn’t like writing.”
“Well read it; look at it, that’s a pentagram. She was a Satanist.”
“That’s just great.” She said with a lot of sarcasm. Lisa didn’t like anything with evil values to it.
David laughed, “Weird. I know. Well it looks like our hit and run victim isn’t here.”
Lisa sat on the old worn couch, she was exhausted. They were coming home from their three day vacation at New Haven.
“Honey I’m tired.”
Then they both heard thunder, and saw lighting.
“Great, let’s get going.” David said.
“I don’t think so. Look it.”
The rain came done fast and heavy. They couldn’t even see their red sports car car.
“Well Lisa I guess were staying in this place.” He sat next to her on the worn couch and put his hand on her blond curly hair.
“I don’t like storms.” She put her hand on his knee.
“Me either, well at least we stopped I guess.”
She smiled, and kissed his hand, “Yeah good idea.”
They both sat in silence now in each others company. But it wasn’t long, when Lisa was about to close her eyes, she saw a black shadow race across the room. David noticed it too, he looked like he was going to shout but kept it in.
“What do you think that was?” Her voice was shaky.
“I don’t know what it was. Probably a cat or somethings shadow.
After that incident nobody said anything, they held each others hand. David was a little frightened but didn’t want to say anything. Lisa on the other hand felt sick, she couldn’t breathe, she started to gasp.
“Lisa, what’s wrong?” He grabbed her close to him.
“I can’t breath,” She barely could speak the words.
He put his lips on her and tried to give her air but it didn’t help. Lisa fell on the floor and her body levitated. His baby blue eyes became wide when he saw her hit the ceiling. “Oh my god!” He screamed.
“David!!!!!” She cried out. Then her body fell it made a big thud, her body had landed beside the couch.
David held her, “Lisa speak to me.”
“GET OUT!!!” A deep dark voice shouted in his face, it wasn’t Lisa’s voice.
He threw her back in fear, “Who are you?”
Then laughter came out of Lisa’s body, it was a girl’s giggle. “You’re going to die, you’re going to die, your going to die”. This girlie voice kept repeating. Her oval face grimaced, it twisted back then forward.
He got off the couch and tried to run. But her grip which was not normally this strong had his wrist. “Please Lisa let me go.”
Her grin was like a jack o’ lantern. She let go of her grip and ran in the kitchen. The door slammed behind her.
David was freaked out to the extreme; he pounded on the door, “Please get out of her body.” God he wished he had a bible with him. Maybe his mother was right; he should have been a priest.
The door opened, it was so sporadic that David flew back. He landed on the hard floor. Her slim body ran to him, he didn’t see what was in her hands until it was too late. She stabbed him repeatedly with a knife in the stomach, blood splashed in her feminine face. He screamed and screamed until the last blow killed him.
Lisa snapped back to her old self, with the knife in her hand, and blood on her white sweater. “Oh God!!!!!”
She collapsed and went insane. Lisa was never the same after the incident. The police sent her to the mental institution.
The ghost of young Molly Lee had possessed her. Legend has it that Molly was a 14 year old girl who just happened to have killed her parents and took her own life, all for Satan himself.
