Sometimes, it’s too hot to start up the oven or you just don’t feel like dragging out ingredients and making a mess. The Baking Life game on Facebook brings the kitchen to your computer, for those times when you don’t have access to a stand mixer. Game play on Baking Life involves operating a bakery, serving sweet (but fatty!) confections to hungry customers. Looking for Baking Life cheats? Look no further! Here are some tips and FAQ for Baking Life on Facebook.
Baking Life Tip: Keep your hype up:
“Hype” in Facebook’s Baking Life involves the buzz around your bakery. At the beginning of the game, your hype is set in the middle. To get it to rise, make sure the customers leave the bakery happy (indicated by a smiley-face icon above the head). If a customer leaves happy, he will tell other people about your bakery, increasing the hype. The more hype your bakery has, the more customers will flow through the door. If your hype drops, customers are leaving angry. Watch the icon above their heads to see why they are unhappy. For example, if a customer has a chair above her head, she can’t find a place to sit, indicating that your restaurant needs more seating to keep people happy. Also check your layout-if your items are not arranged properly, hype can drop. Inspect your layout to see if something is blocked (like a coffee machine) or if a server has too far to walk from the register to the tables.
Once you fix the issue causing your hype to drop, the game can take several hours, even days, before your hype fills back up to respectable levels.
Baking Life: Why are all my workers temps?
As you move up through the levels in Baking Life, your temporary workers will become permanent employees. The promotion process is as follows: temp > staff > Cashiers, Servers, Cleaners and Baristas. Once you reach level 20, you can chose the employee type (cashier, server, barista or cleaning staff member).
Baking Life: How many levels are there?
As of September 2010, there are 80 levels in Baking Life. Once you reach level 80, you can continue playing, but you won’t receive any level up bonus, and there is nothing left to unlock.
Baking Life: No one buys items in the display case
If no one is buying the items in your display case, you might want to check the following troubleshooting ideas:
– When you begin Baking Life, you’ll see very few customers in your bakery. This happens every time you access the application, whether you are a Level 2 player or a Level 70 player. Wait a few moments and more people will trickle in.
– Make sure you have enough cash registers open to properly serve all the customers. If you’re unsure, add another.
– Make sure your display cases are not blocked by a decoration or appliance. It may be that no one can get to the display case to purchase an item.
– Contact Baking Life’s support team if none of the above works.
