Hotel Banipark Palace – Another Heritage Hotel, this lovely Jaipur budget hotel is family-run and situated in a converted Indian bungalow less than a mile from Jaipur’s train station and just a few minutes walk from Jaipur’s old city walls.
The hotel has 25 guest rooms in various styles. Each room features an ensuite bath, TV with cable, air-conditioning and good storage. Rooms are old-fashioned but that’s half the fun of staying there. Plus, they’re spotlessly clean and well-taken care of, and the staff is lovely.
The Hotel Banipark Palace runs a very good vegetarian restaurant serving many Indian dishes, has a small business center with Wi-Fi internet available, same day laundry service and they’ll pick you up or drop you off at the train or bus station.

Hotel Sunder Palace Guest House – Another lovely family-run budget hotel in Jaipur, the Sunder Palace Guest House is quite a large hotel with spacious rooms and friendly staff.
The hotel’s guest rooms have either fans or are air-conditioned, en suite baths, TV with satellite, complimentary toiletries, and telephone.
The hotel has many facilities – hair dryers and irons to borrow, same day laundry service, internet, printing facilities and a lovely restaurant with tables in the garden, on the rooftop and on a pretty balcony overlooking Jaipur. Food is both Indian and International and served for a very reasonable price. The Hotel Sunder Palace Guest House is in a quiet location too, so you’ll get a good night’s sleep here.
