Christmas Cracker Favors
Popular in Britain Christmas crackers are used to hold small candies and toys making them an excellent party favor to hand out at a children’s Christmas party.
Materials Needed:
Empty bathroom tissue rolls
Red and green tissue paper
Red and green curling ribbon
Scotch tape
Scissors
Directions:
1. Choose a color of tissue paper.
2. Cut the tissue paper large enough to wrap around the cardboard tube leaving two inches of excess tissue paper at either end.
3. Tape the tissue paper edges together to secure it on the roll.
4. Cut two six inch pieces of curling ribbon.
5. Use a piece of curling ribbon to tie one end of the Christmas cracker closed.
6. Fill the tissue covered Christmas cracker favor with small toys or candy.
7. Use curling ribbon to tie the other end of the Christmas cracker closed.
8. Place in a decorative basket and hand one to each guest as they leave the Christmas party.
Variations:
Fabric or Christmas gift wrap can be substituted for the tissue paper.
Magic Reindeer Food Christmas Party Favors
For children who believe in Santa and his flying reindeer Magic Reindeer Food makes a fun Christmas party favor that children can use to lure Santa’s reindeer to their home on Christmas Eve. Magic Reindeer Food is inexpensive and simple to make using ingredients commonly found in your kitchen.
Materials Needed:
Dry oatmeal
Cinnamon
Colored sugar crystals
Plastic sandwich bags
Access to a printer
Copy paper for the printer
Hole punch
Glue
Card stock
Curling ribbon
Scissors
Magic Reindeer Food poem
Directions:
1. Print out the Reindeer Food poem and cut it out.
2. Cut a piece of card stock a little larger than the poem.
3. Glue the poem to the card stock.
4. Punch a hole in the upper left hand corner of the card stock.
5. Cut a six inch piece of curling ribbon.
6. Thread the curling ribbon through the hole and set aside.
7. Measure out 1/4 cup of oatmeal, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and one teaspoon colored sugar crystals for each Magic Reindeer Christmas party favor you need to make.
8. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
9. Scoop 1/4 cup of the Magic Reindeer Food mixture into each sandwich bag and close.
10. Tie the Magic Reindeer Food poem around the bag.

Ziploc sandwich bags
Hot chocolate mix
Large individually wrapped candy cane
Two Hershey’s kisses
Mini marshmallows
Access to a printer
Copy paper for the printer
Hole punch
Glue
Card stock
Curling ribbon
Scissors
Snowman Soup poem
Directions:
1. Print out the Reindeer Food poem and cut it out.
2. Cut a piece of card stock a little larger than the poem.
3. Glue the poem to the card stock.

5. Cut a six inch piece of curling ribbon.
6. Thread the curling ribbon through the hole and set aside.
7. In a plastic sandwich place one packet of hot chocolate mix, one candy cane, two Hershey’s Kisses and 10 mini marshmallows and close securely.

9. Place the Snowman Soup favors n a decorative basket and hand one to each guest as they leave the Christmas party.
Candy Cane Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer Christmas Party Favors
These cute Christmas party favors can be made in minutes and also make great Christmas tree ornaments. Use them to decorate a small Christmas tree centerpiece on your party table and then handout to guests at the end of the party.
Materials Needed:
Large individually wrapped candy cane
Small wiggle eyes
Small red pom pom
Black pipe cleaner
Craft glue
Scissors
Ribbon.
Directions:
1. Bend the pipe cleaner around the top of the candy cane and use a little glue to hold them in place.
2. Shape the pipe cleaner in to two antlers.
3. Glue the wiggle eyes on just above the top end of the candy cane.
4. Glue the pom pom to the top end of the candy cane to make Rudolph’s nose.
5. Cut a six inch piece of ribbon and tie in a bow around the middle of the candy cane. and use a drop of glue to secure the bow in place.
6. Hand a Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer favor to each guest as they leave the Christmas party.
Mini Christmas Stocking Christmas Party Favors
These Christmas stocking party favors are super easy and inexpensive to make and can be personalized with each guests name.
Materials Needed:
Red Felt
White felt
Scissors
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
White puffy paint
Small candy canes or trinkets
White chalk
6″ by 3″ stocking template.
Directions:
1. Double a piece of felt and use chalk to trace around your Christmas stocking.
2. Cut out.
4.. Double the white felt.
5.. Cut out a 1/2 ” by 3″ rectangle of white felt.
6. Hot glue both sides of the stocking together leaving an opening at the top of the stocking.
7.Glue the white rectangle trim to the top of the stocking.
8.Use the puff paint to write each child’s name or initials on the stocking and allow to try.
9. Fill with candy or small trinkets.
10. Hand a mini Christmas stocking favor to each guest as they leave the party.
Parents can get their kids involved in helping with the party planning by letting them help make the favors for their Christmas party. Most of these homemade children’s Christmas party favors can actually be made by children with just a little adult assistance needed.
