The Big Brother 12 winner was finally revealed on Wednesday night. The Big Brother 12 winner came down to a decision between Hayden and Lane, after Hayden won the final Head of Household competition, and decided to evict Enzo from the house. The seven Jury House members were tasked with deciding who would win the $500,000 prize and who would be taking home the second place prize of $50,000. It was a tough call between two guys that were in an alliance that sent most of the jury members home this season.
Host Julie Chen took the key box to pull out the seven keys and reveal who had received the most votes from the jury. The winner was of course the first one to receive four votes, and it was Rachel’s vote revealed first, and she voted for Lane. Kathy voted for Hayden, Matt voted for Hayden, Brendon voted for Lane, and Ragan voted for Hayden. Britney voted for Lane to tie the votes, leaving it up to Enzo to choose the winner. Enzo made Hayden the Big Brother 12 winner.
In addition to the Big Brother 12 winner getting announced on Wednesday, we also found out that there will be a Big Brother 13 next season. This season was a huge success in the ratings, and it has already confirmed to CBS that they need to bring back the show for another season. It will certainly follow that Big Brother After Dark and the live internet feeds will also be provided for fans of the show to enjoy. A specific season premiere date has not been set yet, but that is sure to come at some near point in the future. For now though, Big Brother comes to a close for 2010, and we wait for the 2011 cast to be announced.
