Sunday night on CBS’ Big Brother 12 showed the Week 8 Head of Household competition as well as the nomination ceremony. With only 5 players left in the Big Brother game after last week’s double eviction, who won the Week 8 HOH and who is on the block this week on Big Brother 12?
Week 8 Head of Household Competition
The Week 8 HOH competition is called “Big Brother Blackjack.” The players must flip balls on to spaces that match the cards in their hand. Britney is surprisingly the first one out, followed by Enzo (no surprise there). When it’s down to Ragan and Lane, Lane edges Ragan out and wins the HOH. Following Hayden’s quickie HOH win earlier in the night, it’s back to back Brigade HOH’s.
While Ragan has a pity party for himself, Britney and Hayden discuss how Lane’s family seems to have a lot of money and how Lane really doesn’t need $500,000. There is also a “Penguin in Space” montage as Enzo turns the weight bench into a space ship. Yep, these cats are bored out of their skulls.
Pandora’s Box #4
As has been the case for 4 consecutive weeks now, this week’s HOH, Lane, is presented with Pandora’s Box. Ah, such an expected twist Pandora is becoming! Lane goes ahead and opens it and he sees a money tree potentially worth $10,000. He gets to choose 3 cash envelopes, but for each envelope the house will receive a punishment. Lanes’ envelopes total $91.17. Bad move.
But now it’s consequence time- there will be 3 punishments for the houseguests. The first punishment is all of the silverware and cups are removed from the house. So we get to see Meow Meow eat his food like a kitty cat.
Lane is conflicted over who to nominate for eviction. Ragan is the target, but his pawn will have to be either Britney, Enzo or Hayden. Brit gives him flack for even considering putting her up- she still has no clue about the Brigade.
Lane asks Britney if she would use the Veto to take Ragan off the block and after initially saying no she later says maybe she would. So Lane threatens that maybe he better put her up so she’d have to save herself.
But when the nomination ceremony comes, Lane nominates Ragan and Enzo. He reasons that Brigade member Enzo hasn’t won anything all season. Besides, Britney is prettier.
