Now that the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops has confirmed all of our hopes that Treyarch would bring back the ever-popular Zombies Mode, hard core zombies fans the world over have been trying to find the hidden glitches developers have left in the game, to use to their advantage.
The Zombie modes from Call of Duty: World at War featured a few really cool glitches, each enabling the players to obtain multiple weapons, leave maps and even create a protective barrier to the hordes of zombies and hell hounds that are trying to eat their brains!
Playing the game I noticed a few things are different with the glitches we were all so familiar with in Der Reise, Shi No Numa, and Veruckt. I also have discovered through many hours of gameplay and with the help of other players, a few NEW zombie glitches for the new zombie maps; Kino Der Toten, Five and a few missing glitches in the remastered versions of Der Reise, Shi No Numa and Veruckt.
This is Part 1 in a multiple part series and in this part I will only be covering the glitch in the zombie map “FIVE,” featuring JFK, Nixon, McNamara and Castro.
This glitch can be done by all players but is a little tricky to master and if the window boards get nailed in the wrong order, the glitch will fail to work. Definetly practice in Solo mode as not to annoy your teammates with monotanous board jumping. Round one starts and the windows have yet to be broken.
On the side of the office with the long skinny desk, the far right window needs to be knifed at the bottom and ONE board rebuilt. Break another window peice and rebuild that one too. Break One more peice and rebuild it. There should be 2 horizontal boards and 1 verticle board. That’s it, if there’s more this glitch will not work.
If you look you will notice that the boards are nailed to the outside. Stand next to the wall and jump up on the first board. It;s really trick at first, but then becomes second nature. After you get on the first board, jump on to the second and then onto the window frame! You should be able to walk to the edging on the wall.
Turn aroud and face the long skinny desk. You need to be looking forward, but just a little to the left. Now you must
run and jump to the left to get on the desk. It takes ALOT of practice! Don’t get discouraged though, you can do it! Once you get on the desk, go to the end of it and get ready for a running start. The real trick is to get over to the big desk in the middle of the room.
So run down the long skinny desk and jump towards the one in the middle when you’re at the end of it. This is a real pain too but is easier than getting to the skinny desk. So once you’ve finally made it, the zombies cannot get to you and the only thing you have to worry about is running out of ammo and grenades to make crawlers with.
Just don’t forget to get a crawler so you can open up the power and advance in your Defcon levels. As long as the window remains intact, this glitch should remain active. If by some chance you accidentally get Carpenter, you’re pretty much outta luck until you can get another crawler and if the window is fully open again.
So that does it for Part 1 of Zombie Glitches Galore. Hope this helps you gamers out and keep checking back for more exciting zombie updates and tips & tricks. See you back when Part 2 reveals glitches for the Classic Zombie maps remastered for Call of Duty: Black Ops.
UPDATE!!!! This glitch has been patches in all multiplayer zombie modes!!!! ONLY WORKS OFFLINE NOW!!!!
