Some things still amaze me. Just when I think I have pigeon-holed ’em they do something that shows me that for all my generic loathing of the “self-anointed ones” I find they are even more bereft of honor than even my skeptical and non PC butt could imagine. So Brad Pitt is an ass. I mean I knew that, but wow – he’s a monumental one now!
Here’s a clue for ya Brad, my boy – I have been for execution all along. What say first we execute the stupid people, in which case, your place in line is secure and near the head, just behind some other self-anointed big thinkers who object to the morals of the vast majority of this nation, but are all for their morals becoming the laws an entire nation must endure is just how it should be, right there Brad?
He’s helping rebuild New Orleans and that’s good. He puts his money where his mouth is so I respect that. But then he is so unhappy about BP he is “rethinking” execution for it’s execs. Nice Brad. Were his words merely hyperbolic expression and frustration? Perhaps, but keep in mind if I am hyperbolic I am taken to the woodshed for it. So I get it, but ahhh, I am consistent at least. Not so much for old Brad there. See, he’s all sweetness and light unless ya don’t suit him. Then he’s reconsidering the death penalty. What a wuss. I was always for it. Especially for big mouthed asses who have the ability to sway dumbasses. Lemme me relate a seemingly unrelated incident that demonstrates my point.
My daughter’s mother, the stripper, was a conservative. She was as conservative as anyone I knew, or so she said. She was a touchy-feely one, but still strong defense, pay your own way, etc., type gal, but something changed. The change really came when her emotions and opinions were changed partially by, believe it or not, Rosie O’Donnell.
Last time I saw the ‘ex’ I was sitting on her couch and Rosie was on, so ya know that’s been years – back in about 2000 or 2001 at the latest. It was just after Tom Selleck was a guest on Rosie and she showed her ass and attacked him for supporting the NRA. Remember all that? Yeah, well I was dropping my kid off at her house in Raleigh as I was going to party with my old Biker brothers. I had my scooter on the trailer and stopped at her house in the city to drop off the kid and Rosie was on her TV when I walked in.
I of course made plain my feelings when I said “You watch Rosie?” My ex then took up Rosie’s cause in all matters liberal to the core in everything as well as unkind, like Rosie, convinced in her own moral superiority like Rosie and all the rest as well as being an outspoken loud mouth. Well trouble is she, the ex, cannot win a fight with me. She can’t win not because I have more will, although I do, but because she has no core foundations. She can easily be swayed by presentation and in the moment considerations. I have little respect for that.
Rosie is a hypocrite and I hate them suckers right up there with Marxists and terrorists. Rosie didn’t want anyone to have guns, except of course her armed body guards. Therein lies that hypocrisy I so hate. I have no respect at all for the “blowing in the wind” foundations of person’s core beliefs, especially when they are so un-rooted as to be ever-changing. And not Rosie’s ignorant and hypocritical opinions, but those of the easily swayed.
Anyway, my point is she was swayed by Rosie. Well, that’s just plain ignorant if one asks me. Therefore, to tie one to the other, Brad PItt, ass that he is, can sway the emotionally immature, just like Rosie did. So I have an axe to grind here I guess, but still, interesting in that Hollywood types do sway the ignorant for sure.
And like Rosie, Brad Pitt is for something, in this case NO death penalty, unless of course some event not even remotely worthy of jail much less the ultimate punishment, offends him. Nice. So if I am against the random killing of persons I disagree most vehemently with, will it be okay if just this once, if like Brad, I change positions and call “off with their heads?” I mean, just this once and all? Just asking . . . . Y’all see my point here?
