Deanna Favre, wife of football great Brett Favre, appeared on “Good Morning America” on October 21 to talk about and promote her book “The Cure for the Chronic Life”, co-authored with Shane Stanford. The book is about getting through tough times in life.
However, when asked about the accusations against her husband Brett, Deanna simply replied “I’m handling this through faith.” Mrs. Favre did not say whether or not the allegations regarding Brett and “The Daily Line’s” Jennifer Sterger were true or not.
Brett is accused of trying to solicit the affections of Jennifer Sterger, 26, who is a co-host of “The Daily Line”, model and former online columnist for Sports Illustrated. The supposed incident happened when Favre was playing for the New York Jets in 2008.
Apparently Sterger wasn’t interested in Favre because according to an alleged email she sent in August to Deadspin (the website which first broke the story), “I don’t roll that way. That way meaning old . . . or married.”
While the alleged ordeal apparently did not result in an affair, it was apparent that Favre was hoping to win Ms. Sterger over. In one voice mail, Favre asked the former Playboy pinup to send him a text, telling him where he’d be for a few hours and stating that he’d “love to see her” that night.
Deadspin also reported that Jenn Sterger was sent pictures of Favre’s anatomy several times by the football great himself and that she still has evidence of phone calls and photos in her possession. Sterger, however, does not want to release that information to Deadspin or anyone for that matter.

Phil Reese, Jenn Sterger’s manager, spoke to The Post and said he had no comment. He also denied that Sterger had released any emails regarding the matter with Favre to Deadspin.
