Everything she touches turns to country music gold, and Carrie Underwood has just released her new video for her track “Mama’s Song.”
In the clip, the “Jesus Take The Wheel” actress leaves her home and searches for the perfect man, and she has a couple of special guests as well.
Miss Underwood cast both her mother Carole and her new husband Mike Fisher in the video, something she was excited to do.
And Carrie was thrilled with the results- she told press, “Just seeing [Mike] in my world was sweet.”
Tying the knot just two months ago, Underwood says that marriage has been a lesson in time management and scheduling.
The songstress told press, “[Married life] is a lot like dating. Sometimes our schedules will click, sometimes they won’t. But that’s good because we’re both independent.”
Underwood seems to always have something going on with her country music career while husband Mike Fisher’s time is hampered with hockey commitments.
Carrie added, “I love going to games, cheering for my man. When I come home, I’m accused of picking up the [Canadian] accent.”
Aside from her music, the country star recently picked up a high-profile gig when she was named as the face of a major skincare brand.
According to People magazine reports, the country singing cutie has been named Olay Skin Care’s first-ever North American celebrity ambassador.
Speaking on this new position, Ms Underwood said in a statement, “As a little girl I remember my mom always using the original Olay Beauty Fluid and encouraging my sisters and I to take care of our skin. I love that Olay has managed to change with the times, yet stay in touch with women of all ages who want affordable skin care products that do what they promise.”
