First of all consider having your Oktoberfest celebration at the Maryland Brewer’s Oktoberfest. Over 75 beers, over 12 Breweries, brats, German Food and Ompah bands will be present at the event. The event will be held rain or shine. Upon entering you will receive a souvenir tasting mug and 6 beer tokens. If you want to drink more, you can buy more tokens. Other food that is offered is: sausages, potato cakes, sour beef, and schnitzel as well as other great German food. Last but not least try the Frederick Oktoberfest which includes Bratwurst, Oktoberfest bier, German wines, dancing, music, children’s events etc. All the proceeds will go to the Frederick County Charities. The event is family friendly. There is a children’s area for activities. This are includes face painting, pumpkin decorating, scarecrow making and karate demonstrations.
