Chemotherapy really translates to inject thy body with toxins. Trust me there is not one thing of therapeutic value here. Therapeutic one medical definition having or exhibiting healing powers. There is a false statement. Chemotherapy does not cure everyone. The contents of the drugs used happen to be originated from mustard gas chemical weapons used in wars. That whole therapeutic concept here is fading fast. Did you also know that the pharmacists in which handle these drugs are ending up contracting cancer. Is that possible? Think about it, there is that second hand smoke theory, shake someone’s hand who had just cupped there mouth from sneezing with a cold, and next you know you are saying achoo.
Chemotherapy is labeled as a cure for cancer and for the sake of argument or being the devil’s advocate here, say it cures the cancer, what about the harm it has done to other areas of the body. It is stated normal cells recover after treatment most of the time. The other part of the time permanent damage may have been caused. These damages include the heart, lungs, nerves and other organs in the body. Did you know chemotherapy also in some cases have suspended effects like a second cancer occurring years down the road. However, there are those minor side effects like nausea, vomiting, muscles and nerves being effected, hair loss, sexual problems and infection just to name a few.
Let’s take a walk of fame among the stars and look at chemotherapy and the high profiled persons whose lives it has effected.
Rich Cronin, LFO singer and songwriter taken from the world just thirty five years of age. His initial diagnoses with Leukemia came in the year 2005 and a prompt round of chemotherapy had followed. In 2007, it had returned. Which points to that suspended effect theory and more cancer.
Actor Patrick Swayze, had also been treated with chemotherapy and joined the fallen. He was receiving treatments for pancreatic cancer. In the September 8 th issue of the
Journal of the American Medical Association, printed results of a recent study on pancreatic cancer and survival rate with chemotherapy after surgery. The conclusion was devastating, only a five year survival rate of less than five percent. Yet his physician had put him through the hell associated with the treatments knowing these odds. It is possible Mr. Swayze had felt a little more time is better than none. However, the questions needs to be asked at what price.
Well regarded newscaster Peter Jennings died in 2005 from lung cancer. Mr. Jennings also had chemotherapy treatments.
In September of this year tests which were conducted on the new chemotherapy drug Gefitinb which had displayed amazing promise had fallen short of hope. It was established that extension of life for persons with lung cancer was not possible with this drug.
ActressFarrah Fawcett to had fell victim to chemotherapy drugs. She was receiving that so called “cocktail mix” of chemotherapy drugs in the treatment of anal and liver cancer. Ms. Fawcett’s physicians final determination of course of death “cancer”. Some how that seems like such a redundant statement to make.
Yet when persons try natural remedies to cure cancer the big boys come out to play. The FTC (Federal Trade Commission) had started “Operation False Cures”. The operation is to censor those makers of natural cancer remedies. Okay I will agree there are a lot of snakes oil salesmen out there giving persons false hope to cures and not to take their side here but is that not what chemotherapy treatments do provide false hope. So now we have the FTC joining ultimate forces with the FDA may I remind you the FDA is the same agency who has recalled Tylenol a few times, that approved the drug Seroqueland in all fairness to the FDA their approval was as an anti-psychotic use only however, it ends up being prescribe for sleep in war veterans and Avandia issues. Not that I am keeping track here, just worth mentioning it to try and make a point.
The FTC main issue and problem is they do not hold credence to anti-cancer nutrients. We all are aware of the fact that there are foods in which do contain the nutrient such as broccoli, green tea and zinc. Let us not forget the scientific studies which have been conducted showing that Vitamin D prevents an estimated 77% of all cancers. Which now brings the question to mind is the FTC going to go after Elsie the Borden cow now, since evidently her milk does aide in the prevention of cancer.
Here comes Suzzane Somers and not as that kooky roommate from “Threes Company” but as the New York Times best seller author in 2009 for her book “Knockout: Interviews with Doctors Who Are Curing Cancer”.
In November of 2009, Ms. Somers granted an interview to Natural News. You can still here the interview on MP3 on their site. Her concern the present or conventional protocol for cancer is making is a $200 billion plus industry. What does it give in return as she put it “an expensive death”. Ms. Somers brings up a very valid point “There are only three kinds of cancer that respond to chemotherapy: Testicular cancer, childhood leukemia, some lymphomas including Non-Hodgkin,”
All the money which has been raised through fund raisers, donations and black tie events still has not produced a cure from the pharmaceutical industry or the FDA for that matter.
In her book she has interviewed many physicians who have produced and now use alternative or natural cancer therapies. There now is also recognition coming to light in alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture, yoga and Tia Chi.
However, it seems as if the FDA would rather spend time pushing medications that not only can have disastrous side effects but even cause addiction which in a way is making the local pharmacist a drug dealer.
Another note on chemotherapy, the medications used cannot establish the difference between cancer cells and normal healthy cells. With that in mind there is a plausible event of the normal cells being damaged or killed off.
So we review some of the side effects of chemotherapy:
Hair loss is one of the most commonly noted side effects. It can completely remove your hair, partially or just thin it out. It can happen in a few weeks or just a matter of days. Not only does it affect the hair on your head but it can cause hair loss all over the body. It is stated it takes about a month after treatments for hair to start growing back. Keep in mind on average hair grow about six inches each year. When it does come back it could be thinner, different color, less curly more curls. Notation here if you have radiation therapy the hair may never regrow back in.
In many cases of receiving chemotherapy drugs in the arm, severe issues can happen if they leak from the veins and into the tissue surrounding the veins. This type of damage can end up being extremely severe, dangerous and hard to correct with treatment. Patients will need intravenous treatments and there is the possibility they just may run out of veins in which can be used.
Heart damage can occur especially if certain chemotherapy drugs are used such as Adriamycin. These drugs can produce shortness of breath, cough, fatigue and irregular heartbeats.
So let us examine the theory of alternative treatments which are available.
Did you know that Dr. Linus Pauling was one of the world’s distinguished scientists and humanitarians this world has ever seen. Not to mention the fact he was regarded highly and respected just as well especially for advocating civil liberties and health issues. Not to forget that little thing called the Noble Prize in which he won twice and unshared in the years of 1954 and 1962.
Dr. Pauling had asserted the fact that taking up to 10g of Vitamin C each day aides in the fight to prevent cancer. Needless to say he was ridiculed by the medical profession for this announcement. However in current day they are no longer laughing as they too are finding themselves recommending the vitamin.
Yet, somehow chemotherapy is still boasted as the way to end and rid cancer. No one mentions the facts of surviving some of the big C’s like colon, lung and prostate happen to be a very minimal percentage.
Herbal therapies such as mistletoe are being used. Suzzane Somers herself has used this one. Mistletoe is being used in Europe for certain cancers, it is one of the most used treatments in cancer. There have been studies conduct that do hold promise for its use in the battle of cancer. It has been proven to kill cancer cells. Currently the FDA prohibits mistletoe to be sold, imported or used unless it is in scientific experiments.
Nutritional therapies such as Wheat Grass therapy is being used. It is commonly used when all other treatments have failed. So persons end up going back to nature for a cure. Wheat grass therapy cannot only calm down the cancer cells but is said to force the cancer cells to leave the body.
Chinese medicine of Fu Zhen therapy used with chemotherapy. This particular therapy is said to provide protection to the immune system from the chemotherapy drugs and increase the patients rate of survival.
Herbal anti-toxic therapies which are used on a regular routine containing numerous herbs have been proven to prevent the tumor growth. Kelp is one herb in Chinese medicine that is claimed to dissolve tumors when used in Chinese herbal therapy.
In the United States it is not very often that Chinese medicine is the sole source of cancer treatment. However, many health practitioners lay claim to the fact that Chinese medicine has often taken care of cancer cases when conventional medicine had failed.
Now you have the information or at least a portion of it to draw your own reasonable conclusions.
My own personal theory as I have state before our ancestors did not have pharmacies or a Wal mart. All conditions and disease were treated by what mother nature had granted us upon the land. So maybe we should take a step back okay may be a giant leap for our health and start using nature to cure.
