Founded on September 6, 1988 by brothers Patrick and Daniel Conway, Great Lakes Brewing Company became the first microbrewery in Ohio. In the 1870’s there were 30 breweries in Cleveland alone.

In addition to great beers, Great Lakes Brewing Company also offers a great pub-style menu. Among the favorites on the menu are:
Artichoke Crock- containing a spicy artichoke and parmesan cheese blend with fried pita chips and hot peppers.
Any Burger- Great Lakes Brewing Company serves all their burgers on a unique and tasty pretzel bun. All their beef is locally sourced, made fresh daily, and provided by the butchers from Cleveland’s famous West Side Market.
Bratwurst and Perogi- Cleveland is known for their perogi and Great Lakes Brewing Company offers up a fantastic potato and cheese selection paired with a locally made Dortmunder beer brat. Rounding out the dish is a delicious braised red cabbage.
