The nature center is found at 6300 Cochran Mill Road and the admission prices are very low.
Tickets are $3 for adults, $2 for children ages 3 through 12, and kids under the age of 2 are admitted free.
You can enjoy this educational center Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Please note that they are currently closed on Sundays and you might want to get there as early as possible because they do close earlier than other zoo like attractions.

Cochran Mill Nature Center also cares for wildlife that has been hurt and is in no condition to return to their native habitats. These animals are often used in their programs.

You might want to pack a picnic lunch as you can hike to nearby areas and enjoy the scenic waterfalls and other abundant landscapes here in the many acres surrounding the center.
Remember to bring bottled water even If you aren’t planning on having a picnic, and wear comfortable shoes that are fit to go on long hikes.
Not only can you hike, see a waterfall, and enjoy the various programs offered, but there are tons of animals in their facility to see during your visit.
