Country great singer and songwriter Don Williams will be live in concert October 23, 2010 at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds, according to the Hiawassee, Georgia’s Fairgrounds website. The concert will take place in the Anderson Music Hall and tickets are on sell now.
There are two types of tickets available, depending on the area of the music hall you wish to sit. They are $25 per person and $35 per person. They can be purchased online on the Georgia Mountains Fairground website or by calling 706-896-4191. They accept all major credit cards.
Biography of Don Williams
Don Williams was born on May 27, 1939 in Floydada, Texas. He then grew up in Portland, Texas. He graduated in 1958 from Gregory-Portland High School and was in two different bands as a teenager. His mother taught him how to play the guitar. He began a solo career and started out as a songwriter for Jack Music.
Don Williams has had many famous hits since the 1970s. Some of these include Turn out the Light and Love Me Tonight, Come Early Morning, We Should Be Together, Some Broken Hearts Never Mend, I’m Just a Country Boy, Tulsa Time, It Must Be Love, I Believe in You, Love Me Over Again, and True Love, among many others. He garnered 17 Number One Hits, and only four of his 46 singles did not make it into the top ten. He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2010.

The Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds
The Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds is located in picturesque Hiawassee, Georgia above the banks of Lake Chatuge. It is home to several arts and crafts fairs and festivals throughout the year. The centerpiece of the Fairgrounds is a musical venue called Anderson Music Hall, which seats 2,900 patrons for a variety of concerts throughout the year.
