The Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup had TV-themed results last night. As the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup danced to TV theme songs, the results got changed around a bit. Thus far, Jennifer Grey, Audrina Patridge, Brandy, Rick Fox and Kyle Massey look like the big contenders left, with Kurt Warner, Florence Henderson and Bristol Palin in the basement. But the contenders and pretenders were more closed bunched together in the judges’ results last night. Not only that, the Dancing With the Stars lineup got a new leader for Week 5.
Jennifer Grey had the bigger night of television, as she defended her lead at the same time her guest spot on House aired. Yet it was Brandy who stepped up with the bigger performance, kicking things off with a high-scoring routine to the Friends theme song.
Brandy set the bar for the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup, as her 27 remained the high score of the night. The rest of the results also shook up the usual order a bit, although the suspense over who will face elimination may still be low.
Grey managed to finish second with a 25, although she and Derek Hough had some clashes beforehand. Meanwhile, the up-and-down Kurt Warner was up again, as his 24 to the Bewitched theme tied for third with Rick Fox. As for Audrina Patridge, who finished at the top the last few weeks, she slipped down a bit with a 23 – to the tune of The Hills theme, of course.
The rest of the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup will just hope to avoid elimination, after their disappointing results. Kyle Massey might have left himself in danger, as he only got 20 points. Florence Henderson finished with a 21, which she dedicated to Robert Reed.
Yet as expected, the worst results came from Bristol Palin, as she remains the favorite for elimination in Week 5. Palin was the only one to score below 20 points, getting only 18 in her jive dance to the Monkees theme.
Those who have gotten the worst judges scores have not survived, so Palin’s time on the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup could be finished tonight. Her best hope to avoid elimination may be Massey or Henderson, although Massey has been a contender much of the way, and Henderson had one of the most notable routines.
At the least, the order got shaken up a bit, as Brandy made her charge up the leaderboard, and Grey and Patridge got knocked back into the pack. But the focus tonight will be on who faces elimination, as Season 11 reaches the official halfway points.
The Dancing With the Stars lineup will face their fate again in tonight’s results show, starting at 9 pm est on ABC.
