The Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup has had conventional results so far. But as the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup heads for Week 5, they now approach the halfway point of the competition. After this week’s results, there will only be five weeks left in Season 11. There will also be only seven contestants left, as things will start to get more serious soon enough. For the Dancing With the Stars lineup, Week 5 has five likely contenders and three likely pretenders trying to improve their standing.
Last week was a special one for the show, as it had its first ever Acoustics Night, and saw the first perfect scores of Season 11. Jennifer Grey maintained her early advantage – and tonight, she attempts to keep it while her guest appearance on House airs at the same time.
The rest of the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup will attempt to have better results, as Audrina Patridge, Brandy, Rick Fox and Kyle Massey try to close in. These four contestants are fighting for second place at the moment, with Patridge leading the way in that competition. Yet Brandy actually outscored Patridge last Monday, and is out to keep the momentum going.
It will be a surprise if anyone from this group faces elimination in Week 5, however. The other three contestants in the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup are likely to fight amongst themselves to stay alive. Kurt Warner, Florence Henderson and Bristol Palin have narrowly survived the results shows, yet they may be on borrowed time.
Palin, in particular, could be the next one to go in Week 5, after being in the bottom two in the last two weeks. Without The Situation or Margaret Cho to bail her out, however, Palin has a limited margin for error tonight. If she has the worst scores of the night, she will likely be on her way out.
Warner has been up and down thus far, while Henderson has had obvious struggles, but hasn’t been in the bottom yet. However, since Warner, Henderson and Palin have been trailing the others most of the way, they will all likely leave the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup in the next three weeks. It is just the order of how they get eliminated that’s still in question.
Of course, there could be a surprise if Patridge, Brandy, Fox and Massey have a bad week, and leave themselves vulnerable. Yet there has not been much room for surprises lately, as the results are getting as predictable as always.
The next chance for the Dancing With the Stars lineup to change that comes tonight, starting at 8 pm est on ABC.
