The Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup results last night were important. Of course, the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup results from last night may be very different from tonight’s outcome. Season 11 has turned into the Bristol Palin watch, as more and more viewers are upset that she’s still around. No matter what her scores are, the voters keep her around, and punish others in her place. But if tonight’s results knock someone else from the Dancing With the Stars lineup after last night, the outcries will reach a fever pitch.
Palin once again had the worse scores of the night, as the semifinal round began. But it was far from her worst performance, as she got 27 points on the Latin round, and 26 in her ballroom performance. However, the other three semifinals did even better.
The Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup has only seen perfection twice, from Jennifer Grey. Yet last night’s results were perfect twice over for Grey, as she got perfect scores in both rounds. With 60 out of 60 points, Grey once again seems to be the undisputed favorite of Season 11.
Brandy threatened to overtake Grey in recent weeks, but she fell just short last night. She also got a perfect 30 points in the ballroom, yet her 27 in the Latin round dropped her to third for the night. As it turned out, Kyle Massey rose to second place, with 29 points in each round.
Therefore, tonight’s Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup results will be the most disputed of Season 11. The scores would indicate that Palin will likely be eliminated, but that hasn’t been the case all year. Yet if either Grey, Brandy or Massey are sent out tonight, the controversy will rise to new heights.
Grey and Massey had their best weeks to date, while Brandy’s body of work has been consistent all season. Yet things are so tight that Brandy could be sent out, since Grey is presumably untouchable, and Massey has been better than ever lately.
Tonight’s results show offers the biggest test for the recent Palin conspiracy theories. If they are true, then the show, the GOP, the Tea Party, or some other pro-Palin force will keep her on the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup, by any means. But perhaps the nation will judge that this has gone on long enough, especially since Grey, Brandy and Massey made such convincing cases last night.
No matter what the outcome is, it will keep viewers and pundits talking right up until the Season 11 finale. Either way, the Dancing With the Stars lineup will be down to the final three, starting at 9 pm est on ABC.
