The Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup results have mostly favored one contestant. Yet the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup has had new leaders now, after the results of the last two weeks. When Season 11 started, Jennifer Grey looked like the clear frontrunner, with everyone else just aiming for second. Grey still has the only perfect scores of Season 11, and has the best body of work through six weeks. Yet the last two weeks have made her look very vulnerable, as she nearly faced elimination this Tuesday. Therefore, the Dancing With the Stars lineup could lose Grey, if her results don’t get better soon.
For three of the first four weeks of Season 11, Grey was in control. She led the judges scores, got two perfect 10’s in Week 4, and was all but given the mirror ball. Since there has been little suspense in the last few seasons, it appeared that it would be the same old story this fall.
Instead, the last Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup results have thrown the entire competition in question. Grey took a few lumps in Week 5, as she slipped into the bottom three and didn’t lead the judges’ scores. However, the last time she didn’t get the high scores, she rebounded with perfect 10’s in her next routine.
Yet it didn’t get any easier for Grey this Monday, as she got her worst scores of Season 11. What’s more, she was in the bottom two with fellow frontrunner Audrina Patridge, after the two were expected to be in the final two weeks ago. Patridge was sent out, however, eliminating one major challenger for Grey, at the least.
Even with Patridge gone, the rest of the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup is catching up to Grey. Brandy has led the results lately, while Rick Fox has had consistent scores through much of Season 11. Kurt Warner, Bristol Palin and Kyle Massey have been up-and-down throughout, but Grey is suddenly looking inconsistent as well.
Grey’s partnership with Derek Hough has been called into question, as they have appeared to clash over the last two routines. But Hough blamed his “guyliner” for getting into his eye and throwing them off this week.
Whatever the cause is, Grey is now playing catch up to the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup for the first time, as next week’s results may shape the rest of Season 11. If she manages to get back on track and take the lead again, she could be on track for the win after all. But if she stumbles once again, she may become a long shot, and leave things wide open to the end.
Grey and the rest of the Dancing With the Stars lineup truly have a big week ahead, starting Monday at 8 pm est on ABC.
