The Dancing With the Stars 2010 results now have a lineup of three finalists left. But since the Dancing With the Stars 2010 results have been controversial for weeks, the lineup is under heavy scrutiny and doubt. Last night, the only way to eliminate that doubt and controversy would have been to eliminate Bristol Palin. More and more fans had doubted the legitimacy of Season 11, since Palin just couldn’t be voted out. Now, those complaints are at a fever pitch, as the latest Dancing With the Stars 2010 results shook the lineup up more than ever.
Bristol Palin got the worst scores on Monday night, although they were hardly her worst of Season 11. Yet with Jennifer Grey perfect, and Brandy and Kyle Massey nearly perfect, it left Palin as the odd one out to many. However, once again, that many didn’t have enough power to vote Palin out.
The final lineup after last night’s Dancing With the Stars 2010 results will include Palin – which means either Grey, Brandy or Massey had to go. Grey was utterly perfect on Monday, and has been the favorite throughout Season 11, so she was safe. Brandy had been a co-favorite most of the way, while Massey had struggled until the last few weeks.
However, it was Brandy who was taken out, leaving Massey and Palin to challenge Grey. Just a few weeks ago, a Grey vs Brandy final seemed inevitable – but so did a Grey vs Audrina Patridge finale weeks before that. Once again, a supposed major contender was eliminated, instead of the year’s most controversial contestant.
The growing complaints about the Dancing With the Stars 2010 results are now as unstoppable as Palin apparently is. Since the lineup has Palin in the final week, instead of Brandy, Patridge or Rick Fox, there is now no way to convince outraged fans that Season 11 isn’t rigged – or at least a full on GOP/Tea Party plot.
Brandy was supposed to be Grey’s greatest challenger, as she was the only other contestant to get the highest judges scores in a week. Even if Palin survived, Massey was the more likely to face elimination, since his body of work is much weaker. Yet due to Massey’s surge in the last two weeks, he avoided being the sacrificial lamb.
The show got what it wanted in a way, as the ratings and buildup for the final week will be massive. Yet the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup results so far are not leaving all of those viewers happy.
As such, anti-Palin fans will see next week as a good vs evil struggle, with Grey as the heroine against Palin’s band of voters. Meanwhile, Massey is still around as an afterthought, although he could split the vote.
Next week stands to have the most heated Dancing With the Stars finale results ever, as the final lineup returns on Monday night on ABC.
