Dancing with the Stars 2010 has paired up the dancing partners, so all that is left to do is let the footwork begin! The dancing pros do have a bit of a challenge on their plates for Season 11 with these stars. Before Dancing with the Stars airs, the dancing pros need to get the stars dancing and this is not always an easy feat to accomplish.
Weeks of hard practice in dance moves, which comes along with a lot of sweat and fast foot work, may prove too much for the D-listers who have been off the grid for a while.
Will fist pumping be somehow incorporated into “The Situations” dancing routine? It might work to keep the Jersey Shore star in beat with the music. After all, the fist pump is like an antenna when dancing for this weight lifting bugger!
The dancing partners have been picked and here they are according to TV Guide:
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Karina Smirnoff
Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas
Michael Bolton and Chelsie Hightower
Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya
Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke
Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough
David Hasselhoff and Kym Johnson
Florence Henderson and Corky Ballas
Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer
Brandy and Maksim Chmerkovskiy
Margaret Cho and Louis van Amstel
Audrina Patridge and Tony Dovolani
Derek Hough, one of the two time winners of Dancing with the Stars will also be the defending champion. He has Dirty Dancing’s, Jennifer Grey, as his partner. We know Jennifer can do the moves, we have seen her before as she danced her way to fame with the late Patrick Swayze. This pairing looks like a given for the win, but you never know, it has been a few decades since Jennifer had her dancing shoes on for the screen, so anything is possible.
What is going to be fun to watch is Mike “The Situation” make the transition from the solid hunk of a gait that he has to a more graceful movement for dance.
Another Michael, Michael Bolton, has grace in his singing, can he transform this into dance moves?
Bristol Palin and Rick Fox each landed two time champs as dancing partners, so they can look forward to dancing with people already marked as winners.
Dancing with the Stars Season 11 may just have the best line-up of personalities yet and they also may be the biggest challenge as of yet for the pros!
