Tuesday night on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars Week 4 results show it was time to reveal which couple would be sent home after this week’s Double Score Showdown. Reeling from the first 10’s of the season and the return of the dreaded number 4 paddle, it was up to the fans to decide who would stay and who would go. So who went home on Week 4 of Dancing With the Stars? Let’s just say it wasn’t a surprising situation.
Right off the bat the ringers- Audrina and Tony, Brandy and Maks, and Jennifer and Derek were told they were safe.
Next up was a redo of this season’s best dance thus far- Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough’s saucy Argentine Tango.
Rock band the Good Goo Dolls performed a medley of their songs “Not Broken” and “Iris”. Next up Disney star Kyle Massey and his partner Lacey Schwimmer were told they were safe, while Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas were given the dire news that they were in jeopardy.
Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke were safe, while Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya were in jeopardy.
The Macy’s Stars of Dance- Forever Tango- performed a beautiful dance and e Florence and the Machine sang “Dog Days Are Over “.
Next it was some more low scorers from Monday night. On Monday night’s DWTS, Jersey Shore star The Situation found himself in a very bad situation when he and partner Karina Smirnoff scored a meager 12 out of 30 points for technique and 16 out of 30 for their performance. On Tuesday night The Sitch and Karina were told they were in jeopardy, while Brady mom Florence Henderson and Corky Ballas were given the news that they were safe for another week.
In the end, Bristol Palin and Kurt Warner and their partners were both let off the hook and MTV’s The Situation was told he was going home.
The Sitch took the news graciously, bowing down to the audience and humbly accepting his fate. And as we say goodbye to The Situation, we can thank Dancing With the Stars for introducing millions of grandmas to MTV’s resident bad boy. Wonder how many will tune in to catch his work on Jersey Shore? Tom Bergeron did.
Next week on Dancing With the Stars, it’s TV Theme week. Hmmm…do I smell a Brady Bunch spoof?
