Dancing With the Stars paid homage to Rock & Roll on Monday night and we learned more about who is a contender and who is a pretender on this season of DWTS.
Brandy too another step forward with a creative and energetic effort put together by Maks. The music was hot and Brandy and Maks’ routine was even hotter. The fans loved it, the judges loved it, and Maks was thrilled with Brandy’s effort.
Going the other direction was Kurt Warner. I think the judges were a little rough on him and Anna, and didn’t think he should be the first eliminated in the dance marathon. It almost appeared to me that they put together a unified effort to get the Super Bowl MVP off the show. Kurt is too nice of a guy to complain, but the fans needed to support him or he is going home.
They started out tonight looking at the bottom three teams. Bristol and Mark, Kurt and Anna, as well as Jennifer and Derek were at the bottom. Voted to safety were Bristol and Mark and in a surprise Kurt and Anna. Jennifer and Derek are in jeopardy.
A show highlight this week was Heart performing. They’ve been rocking for almost 40 years. A perfect band to have on during Rock Week.
Next we have a look at last night’s performances of Rick and Cheryl and Kyle and Lacey. Rick and Cheryl are moved to safety and Kyle and Lacey are in jeopardy again.
Before we found out any other results, we were treated to a Macy’s Stars of Dance and a performance by Kylie Minogue.
The final two couples waiting to find out their fate were Brandy and Maks and Audrina and Tony. The couple safe is Brandy and Maks. Audrina and Tony are in jeopardy.
Three good couples are in jeopardy. One will go home. The next couple safe is Kyle and Lacey. Also safe is Derek and Jennifer. Audrina and Tony have been eliminated.
