Dancing with the Stars has been a fan favorite since season one. Now entering their 11th season, they are offering an entire new line up of stars to compete in the finals and take away the title. Monday September 20, 2010 is the opener and already the bookmakers are taking odds at who is crowned winner at the end of the season. The betting is getting competitive and there are some who are already picked as the season winner.
One of the most controversial contestants this season is hands down Bristol Palin who is listed as an underdog to win by bookmakers. You cannot conduct a search for season 11 without finding twenty pages of articles based on the daughter of Sarah Palin who made a run for Vice President and who is in her own right controversial. The fact is that she is only one out of twelve celebrities who are making their debut on the show this season.
Some of the other notables are: Mike “the Situation” Sorrentino, from MTVs Jersey Shore for those who are thinking, “who is that?”, Michael Bolton, Kurt Warner former Quarterback of the Arizona Cardinals, Rick Fox, Jennifer Grey star of Dirty Dancing, David Hasselhoff, Florence Henderson, Kyle Massey, Brandy, Margaret Cho and Audrina Partridge. As with every season, the show is spattered with B and C list stars rather than the A list that the show would rather have on.
With this many different personalities from different backgrounds, this season is gearing up to be another ratings grabber. Look for a fierce battle between the stars beginning with the show’s premier on ABC who is airing the show at 8pm/7pm central time for those who want to tune in a see what the competition is bringing this season.
