There’s no longer a situation on Dancing With The Stars as Mike the Situation Sorrentino met the toe of a dancing boot last night on the Week 4 Results Show. While The Sitch was obviously not pleased about leaving, he did exhibit unexpected class and composure as he exited the show.
“You know what? I told myself if I got eliminated today, I put it all on the floor last night,” Sorrentino explained. “I tried my best and at the end of the day somebody’s got to go home. If I made it to the fourth round, I did my best, I guess. …I’m not a dancer… It’s definitely hard and at the same time, on ‘Jersey Shore’ you saw a little keyhole of who I am. On ‘Dancing with the Stars’, you got to see the whole Situation.”
The Situation added, “So if it (happened), I’d bow out gracefully.”
Karina Smirnoff, the Situation’s partner said, “It’s sad that we left so early. I think he had so much more in him to develop and improve and come out of the shell, but what’s done is done and now we’re able to concentrate on other projects we’ve got going on.”
Mike The Situation apparently made an impact on fellow stars and dancers as “The Insider” was able to talk to the cast after their Jersey Shore friend was eliminated.
For example, Rick Fox said, “He’s also given, I think, America a different side of him that they might not have known of if they just watched him on “Jersey Shore.”
Bristol Palin, also in the bottom two last night, said that she’ll miss his positive attitude and Audrina Patridge, another MTV star said she will “miss his work ethic.”
