I just wanted to take some time this morning to say thank you for all you have done for me over the years, for the times you’ve stood by me, for the times you said yes and the times you said no. Your help was deserved rarely but appreciated always. You are my rock to get me through the day, my staff to help me over the rocks that stand in my path, water that sustains my life, and my breath when life hits me too hard to breathe. You’ve given me strength to rise again when I’ve fallen, hope that it will get better, and you have been the shield that protects me when evil seems to surround me . Thank you for listening when I’ve petitioned your help on the behalf of family and friends when they’ve gone through their own trials. I appreciate the love that you’ve given me to pass on, the love that only seems to grow as I give it away.
I wanted to thank you, too, for helping me to stay on the right path when everything in my life seems too good to be true, when all is well for me and my family and friends. You’ve stayed by my side through the good times, keeping me grounded and feeling safe in your arms. Thank you for friends who remind me that it is through your grace that life blesses us whether we are on top or feeling at the bottom of the heap. I have friends who are filled with love for you, with the great strength that only comes from you, and the ability to pass on that love and strength to those around them. I am many times amazed that when things in my life are going well and I want to help a grieving friend, it is the friend who has helped me. The faith and strength that shines through the grief in their eyes and words strengthens my faith in you, Lord.
Thank you for my family, and friends. Please look out especially for Susan, Ted, and Tom, Lord, and continue to be with them and help them through their grief. I appreciate the spirituality of Pam and Marlyn and the wisdom they have tried to pass on to me. I thank you for the faith Tina, Susan, Gina, and Jack have that helps to strengthen mine. Bless Amber’s brother and Robin’s grandson with good health and let Sandra hear your answer to her prayers. Please continue to shower your love on my cousins and your servants, Debbie and Vince (lovely and strong Chente).
Thank you, Lord, for this day. Please give me the strength to get through it safely, the wisdom to do it wisely, and the faith to do it in You. With Love, Sharon
