About five weeks ago I gave you another chance. I had previously utilized your services, but gave you up because the spousal unit wanted to go with AT&T and get the iPhone. Also, your reception sucked. Five weeks ago we needed to add another phone to our package and the rates at other companies were proposterous. So, you scored points with us again. Back to Sprint we went. I decided that I would go back to my old phone again, the Palm Pre. I had previously owned this phone, but when we went to AT&T I sold it to the neighbor. So I purchased another one. Well actually I didn’t, it ended up being free after the mail in rebate. So score again for you. Thanks for that.
However, on day 31 of owning my Pre, the screen stopped working. Due to it being a touch screen phone and the screen not working, I couldn’t use my phone. Obviously this was an issue. So off to the Sprint store we went. We purchased our phones on October 13. The screen broke on November 13. The warranty on the phone covers it up to 30 days. Due to Halloween, I was at 31. So I had to pay $35 for a replacement phone. I was told it would be in by Tuesday, Wednesday at the latest. Tuesday came, no call. Wednesday came, no call. I called Wednesday afternoon and my phone had been in, it was just that nobody told me. So off I go to retrieve the newest member of our cell phone family. I pay my money, I get my phone, I start setting it up. I get it home and it tells me that I have 20% battery left. I was doing homework, so I didn’t plug it in, but I knew from my other Pre that I still had time. Apparently not with this Pre. I picked it up a short while later and the light was blinking. I couldn’t turn it on. I plugged it in to charge. Twenty minutes later I tried to turn it on again. Nothing. Forty minutes later I tried again. Nothing. I was a bit upset at this point. I took the battery out for ten minutes and put it back in. Success!
This better be a one time deal Sprint. I wasn’t happy with AT&T and I want to be happy with you. My reception is better, so you get points for improving that one as well. I like my phone better than the iPhone too. It just better not give me any more issues. Okay??? Good.
