Yeah so that original 3 week time period that Green Bay Packers TE Jermichael Finley would be out after knee surgery was very optimistic it seems. Word now is that Finley will be out a minimum of 6 week and for as long as 10 weeks. Truly devastating news for the team and fantasy football owners.
Analysis: Awful, terrible news for those who own Finley as it looks like his season from a fantasy football perspective is pretty much kaput. Even 6 weeks being out puts him back during the fantasy playoff season and he surely would be limited. There is no sense holding onto him and I stand by my original redommendation to snatch up Aaron Hernandez, Brandon Pettigrew, and Jermaine Gresham as his replacement in that order. Hernandez is in line for a big increase in passes now that Randy Moss is gone and we have seen how well Pettigrew is playing with QB Shaun Hill. As far as Gresham is concerned, he has been steady all year. Tough break for Finley as he was really having the season we all thought he would have. Wait until next year now.
