Ever wonder how other players score over 10,000 points on one game of “World Winner” Diner Dash while you always score less than 5,000? This strategy on the “World Winner” version of Diner Dash will help you boost your points to become competitive and start winning games. Although some of these tips can be used on the full version of Diner Dash, this strategy guide is targeted specifically at the “World Winner” version.
The “World Winner” version of Diner Dash is similar to the full version in many ways, but is also a little different. First, each game is a maximum of five minutes long. Second, the customer types have changed slightly, so that the patience of each customer has been tweaked just a little (see “Basic Strategy” below). Lastly, the customer noise levels do not bother nearby customers. In the full version, the cellphone addict would decrease the happiness of nearby tables since he was too noisy. You do not have to worry this in the “World Winner” version of Diner Dash.
At the beginning of the game, you will be presented with two options for power-ups to use during the game. The choices will vary between a radio, podium, shoes, and stove. The radio increases the happiness of all seated customers during the duration it is on. The podium increases the happiness of all customers standing in line as long as Flo is standing at the podium. The shoes allow Flo to walk faster, enabling her to server her customers more quickly. The stove speeds up the time it takes for the kitchen to produce its dishes. Choose your power-up carefully and based on your game style. The power-up choice that you choose will be a big asset to your game, so make sure you choose one will be used throughout the game.
The key to high scores in “World Winner” Diner Dash is the strategy of chaining. Each time you chain an action, you earn extra points. By chaining two actions in a row, you earn double points on the second action. By chaining three actions in a row, you earn triple points on the third action, and so on. As you can see, chaining can add up to hundreds or thousands of bonus points over the course of the 5-minute game.
Do not take any customers’ orders until all of the tables are full. This is most easily accomplished if you know how quickly each type of customer orders. The quickest and most impatient customer is the cellphone addict, followed by businesswomen, young lady, jogger, senior, and finally the bookworm, in that order. Seat the slowest customers first and the quickest customers last, so that they are all ready to order around the same time. Take all of the customers’ orders before doing anything else. Do NOT interrupt the chain to serve coffee or turn on the radio. Remember, each additional chain action earns you bonus points in the form of a multiplier!
When the orders have all been delivered to the kitchen, serve coffee or turn on the radio to fill hearts and raise customers’ happiness. When the dishes are ready to be served to the customers, serve from the slowest customers (bookworm) to the quickest (cellphone addict) .This will help to ensure all the customers finish their food around the same time.
Serve dessert to those that ask for it before presenting the bill to any of the customers. When all the dessert has been served, start collecting the money from the customers who are finished. When all of the money has been collected, clean up all the dishes.
See a pattern here? You want to chain as many similar actions as possible to maximize your score. Serving coffee and seating customers cannot be chained. On that note, seating customers and standing at the podium does NOT break a chain. Any other actions, such as serving coffee or turning on a radio, break a chain.
Additional Game Tips:
Once you have the basic strategy down, add these additional tips to boost your score even further.
Once the first group of customers have left and the dishes cleaned, seat customers based on their color. If you seat a blue customer in a blue chair, for example, you will earn an extra 100 points. Each color match at that table will earn you additional bonus points! In addition to the bonus points, color matches also boost the customers’ happiness by one heart. Note that if you seat a customer in a non-matching colored chair, the color of the chair will be overwritten by the new customer’s color. Seating a pink customer in a blue chair will turn the chair pink.
Use coffee, radio, and podium to keep hearts full and your customers happy. Customers will not order dessert if their hearts are not full enough. In addition, tips will be lower if your customers are not happy. Joggers never order dessert, regardless of their happiness level.
Watch the clock! For each second that is left on the timer at the end of the game, you will receive five bonus points. If you finish one minute early, that is 300 bonus points added to your final score.
These strategies and tips should help you on your way to boosting your scores and winning in the “World Winner” Diner Dash games. Remember – chaining is key! Good luck, and have fun!
