She has been on top of the leader board many times. She has danced through a lot of pain. First, she had to deal with her own pain that was brought on by a car accident she had years prior, which left her with a severe neck trauma. This made Derek’s Hough’s job of choreographing their movements even more important than ever. Plus, she tore a ligament just above her knee midway through the season. Yet, she suffered on and danced through her pain.
She even continued to score tens during this pain. She was also the only dancer this season to score two perfect tens in one night.
Yet, his doesn’t mean Jennifer Gray will win this season’s finale of “Dancing with the Stars?”
What will stop her?
During the finale the dancers will get to do a freestyle number. After each dance number, once again the judges will get to vote and so will America. This is the key vote and America will be casting it. The American voters don’t always vote who is the best dancer. Sometimes they vote for who they think has the sweetest personality, who has had the hardest life, who has been criticized in the media more, who has the better politician as a mother and who’s camp has campaigned for them more. Some of the voters aren’t even really watching the show and some of the viewers, who are watching, are not voting.
What should change? For tonight, everyone who is actually watching the show should cast their vote for the best dancer. They should leave everything out of the equation. Plus, nobody who isn’t watching the show should be voting.
If all voters did this, then “Dancing With The Stars” could become a fair show for all the contestants and maybe everyone could calm down some.
This is just a thought.
