I’m not too fond of Dolce & Gabbana fragrances. There’s no fragrance they make that I’m crazy about-until this one.
First, they have Scarlett Johansen as the muse for this fragrance. That’s a great move because she’s so freaking beautiful.
The fragrance is said to have notes of rose, pink grapefruit, mandarin, peony, lily, vanilla and musk.
I definitely smell the rose. It’s such a gorgeous scent. It’s soft and powdery, and very feminine. I love roses.
The next note smelled like Poppy by Coach. It smelled like a blend of orange and pink grapefruit. It made the rose smell sweet and sparkly. I would never think that citrus and rose would smell so good together.
To be honest, I don’t smell any of the other notes. I smell something that reminds me of gardenia, but that could be the lily (all white flowers smell alike to me). Maybe I can smell a little bit of musk, but the vanilla and peony is not reaching out to me.
Overall, this fragrance is beautiful! I love it. This is the first fragrance by D&G that I actually love. I recommend it to all my ultra femme ladies out there. I’m giving it 5 out of 5 stars!
It’s $72 for 1.6 oz.
