One of the cool things found in this photo editing software are the effects. In this program, you will find many different effects that can be applied to your photos with a click of the mouse. All of the effects can be found in three sorted panels. In this tutorial, I will show you how to apply the effects to your photos in Elfin Photo Editor.
Opening Your Photo to Apply Effects
You will need to open the photo that you want to apply the effects too. You can do this by clicking the open folder icon at the top of your window. Then you can find the photo you want to open and double click it to open it. When the photo loads, you can continue on with this effects tutorial.

On the right side of your program, you will see the effects panel. In this panel is three different panels. You can navigate through the panels by using the tabs at the top of the panel. The three tabs represents the three categories of effects. To browse through the effects, click the tabs and use the scroll bar to browse through them.
Applying the Effects to Your Photos in Elfin Photo Editor
Now you are ready to apply the effects to your photos. With your photo open, browse through the effects and find an effect that you want to apply to your photo. Once you find the effect, click it. Give the program a second and you will see the effect applied to the photo. If you do not like the effect, click another effect to override that effect.
Some of the effects will have settings to go along with them. If you see a box open when you apply an effect, that is the settings box. You can make adjustments in this box to adjust your settings. Also, if you apply an effect to a photo that has been framed, the effect will also be applied to the frame. So, if you do not want the effect on the frame, you will need to apply it to the photo before you frame it.
