The 15th annual International Food and Wine Festival winds down this weekend at Disney World’s Epcot Center. Visitors began the final weekend with “Celebrating Family and Friends in the Kitchen” a culinary demonstration with chefs from Victoria & Albert’s of the Disney Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
From the time the park opens, until closing there are many opportunities to observe everything in the “World” in regards to food and drink. World renowned chefs share their passion for their specialty and offer tasting of their creations for a nominal price, along with book signings, bottle signing, beverage seminars, and every evening there is an “Eat to the Beat” concert series at America Gardens Theatre.
Ongoing tastings at over 27 International Marketplaces in Epcot’s World Showcase offer the palate a sensory overload if you’re not careful. Enjoy a leisurely walk around the World and enjoy samplings from Chile, Brazil, Argentina, South Korea, Singapore, Australia, Spain, New Zealand, and Germany’s Brewer’s collection.
Each year the International Food and Wine Festival have fulfilled the senses of aroma, taste, and atmosphere where one would think this can’t be beat. However if one were to ask the regulars who attend this yearly event they are sure to say they will be back; knowing that next year’s experience will be more than satisfying and enjoyed by thousands of visitors for the years to come.
