Fantasy football is so popular because it is one to two day a week affair and is easy to manage for fantasy football owners. What most fantasy football owners forget is that they need to check their rosters the night before and make sure their players are still starting on Sunday September 24th.
Fantasy Football Quarterbacks to Start in Week 3 of Fantasy Football
Michael Vick Philadelphia Eagles
Michael Vick is a must start in this NFL Week Three tilt against an over matched Jacksonville Jaguars defense. Vick is the perfect double threat to run or pass and he should be able to get some premium yardage through the air in this game. Expect a minimum of two deep touchdowns to DeSean Jackson or Jeremy Macklin. Two wide receivers for the Philadelphia Eagles that should be considered starts in fantasy football also. Michael Vick is the number one choice to start at quarterback in all fantasy football leagues.
Matt Ryan Atlanta Falcons
Matt Ryan goes against the New Orleans Saints defense that has been gambling this year just as they were last season. Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons will run the ball relentlessly early the game, set up the play action pass and then have his way with the blitzing defense of Gregg Williams. Ryan is a must start in all fantasy football leagues tomorrow.
Carson Palmer Cincinnati Bengals
Fantasy football owners that own Carson Palmer pull a huge break this weekend as Palmer plays a weak Carolina Panthers team that is in disarray. Palmer should be able to have a huge day against a team that is struggling to get their wits bout them early in the season. Consider starting fantasy football wide receiver Terrell Owens and Jordon Shipley also for the Cincinnati Bengals. Carson Palmer is a must start for all fantasy football owners unless the other choices are the two quarterbacks previously listed.
Fantasy Football Quarterbacks to Sit Week 3 of Fantasy Football
Eli Manning New York Giants
Eli Manning has never been a reliable fantasy football quarterback and a game against the Tennessee Titans strict defense will show why. Manning will be shut down for the most part but he will still have around 180-200 yards passing. For fantasy football owners in leagues with two starting quarterbacks he is a marginal start. This also holds true for fantasy football owners in 12 man fantasy football leagues. Play it safe and sit Eli Manning this week in all fantasy football leagues.
Mark Sanchez New York Jets
The New York Jets sophomore quarterback is in a resurgence as a fantasy football quarterback worth a look. Don’t be fooled. Sanchez beat a New England Patriots defense that will struggle all season long. Sanchez against a Miami Dolphins defense that has yet to give up more than ten points will be crushed in this game. Don’t expect Sanchez to have more than 100 yards passing. Sit Mark Sanchez in all fantasy football leagues.
Vince Young Tennessee Titans
Vince Young will get the start after being benched by Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher in his last game against a menacing Pittsburgh Steelers defense. Young will face a New York Giants defense that is eager to avenge their sullied name after being humiliated by Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts. Sit Vince Young in all fantasy football leagues. He could get benched again in the middle of this game.
