The quarterback position in fantasy football is becoming more important than the running back position now that the NFL is becoming a passing league. Quarterbacks are racking up points left and right for their fantasy football owners and the results have been nothing short of amazing.
Aaron Rodgers has been a hit or miss fantasy football quarterback in the Green Bay Packers first three games but he is a no brainer to start in the fourth week of fantasy football. The following three quarterbacks are great starts in the fourth week of fantasy football and a few of the starter and sitters may be surprises. Feel free to leave comments seeking advice on who quarterbacks to start or sit in fantasy football below.
Four Fantasy Football Quarterbacks to Start in Week Four of Fantasy Football
Phillip Rivers: San Diego Chargers
Phillip Rivers is mad again this week after blowing the Seattle Seahawks game on the road. The month of October should begin a new chapter for Phillip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers. Rivers will take his frustration out on an Arizona Cardinals defense that is ripe for the picking. The San Diego Chargers high powered offense will be no match for the weak Cardinals. Rivers is a must start in week four of the fantasy football season.
Bruce Gradkowski: Oakland Raiders
An Oakland Raiders quarterback starting on a fantasy football team? Yes, this week it is recommended to start Bruce Gradkowski. Some may feel it is a reach but the Houston Texans gave up 422 yards to Donovan McNabb and he and Gradkowski have very similar styles.
Gradkowski will pick at the Houston Texans secondary and have over 300 yards passing when all is said and done. Anyone can tell fantasy football owners to start Rodgers how many fantasy football experts are giving out Gradkowski? Fantasy football owners must start Bruce Gradkowski in the fourth week of fantasy football.
Matt Ryan: Atlanta Falcons
Matty Ice has been a decent fantasy football back up this season, now it is time to get some points for starting Matt Ryan of the Atlanta Falcons. Ryan has many weapons to choose from but Tony Gonzalez and Roddy White owners must play their receivers also. Matt Ryan is a great fantasy football start in the fourth week.
Sam Bradford: St Louis Rams
Starting an NFL rookie in the fourth week of fantasy football is unheard of but this start of Sam Bradford of the St Louis Rams is too good to pass up. Bradford should have a good game against a potentially bad travel team in the Seattle Seahawks. Sam Bradford is a solid start for fantasy football owners, especially owners in 12 man leagues.
Four Fantasy Football Quarterbacks to Sit in Week Four of Fantasy Football
Carson Palmer: Cincinnati Bengals
Carson Palmer looked awful in his last start and this game against the other Ohio team, the Cleveland Browns will be a hard fought contest. Cleveland is 0-3 and looking to get off the snide and Carson Palmer is the man that can give them that win. Palmer may not throw for more than 150 yards in this game. Fantasy football owners must sit Carson Palmer in the fourth week.
Joe Flacco: Baltimore Ravens
Another struggling quarterback in the AFC North is Joe Flacco. Flacco has plenty of targets but he is off target early in the season. It could be an offensive line issue but it looks more like a happy feet issue. Flacco is a must sit in fantasy football this week against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Mark Sanchez: New York Jets
The New York Jets Mark Sanchez is the talk of the town following two big performances in the last two weeks of NFL action. All good things come to an end and Sanchez will be shut down by the Buffalo Bills. Sounds crazy but do not be tempted to start Sanchez in fantasy football for week four.
Jay Cutler: Chicago Bears
Another prediction that may be met with skepticism is sitting Jay Cutler in the fourth week of fantasy football. Cutler has done well for his fantasy football owners in the first three weeks but the New York Giants defense is like a wounded animal and they should be dangerous in this game. Sit Jay Cutler in the fourth week of fantasy football.
