The Seahawks proved once again that they are a terrible team on the road and solid at home. The Rams meanwhile have a player in QB Sam Bradford who is going to be good for a long time in this league.
St. Louis Rams:
Sam Bradford: 23/41 for 289 yards with 2 TD’s and 1 INT. I love Sam Bradford. LOVE HIM!!! There is no doubt in my mind that Bradford will be a top 10 and maybe even top 5 fantasy football QB in three years tops. Bank on it. Even this season Bradford is worth a look as a bye week fill-in.
Steven Jackson: 22 carries for 70 yards along with 3 catches for 54 yards. I was surprised on two fronts here. One is that Jackson even played after dealing with a groin issue all week and two that he got as much work as he did. Either way he didn’t wow anyone with this performance but he should be good going forward until the next injury strikes.
Mark Clayton: 5 catches for 72 yards. Clayton has been very useful this season as he has new life in St. Louis after getting out away from the Ravens. Bradford is the type of big-armed QB who can turn someone like Clayton into a star so keep playing him because he will put up solid numbers.
Danny Amendolas: 5 catches for 46 yards. Amendola is borderline in PPR leagues but worth nothing in TD leagues. Still he has been consistent with the receptions but he wont get into the end zone much.
Brandon Gibson: 3 catches for 50 yards with 1 TD. Good game for Gibson but he is not a person of interest right now. Amendola is more attractive for comparison’s sake.
Matt Hasselbeck: 20/36 for 191 yards with 0 TD’s and 1 INT. Hasselbeck was a very useful fantasy football starter for years but he is on the downslope of his career. Right now he is not even worth using as a bye week fill-in.
Justin Forsett: 19 carries for 65 yards along with 2 catches for 10 yards. I cut ties with Forsett two weeks ago as he just didn’t do enough to fill the promise he showed at the end of last season. Still he can be useful due to the fact he can catch the ball but only as a bye week fill-in. He is capable of having a decent game here and there but its not enough right now.
Mike Williams: 4 catches for 32 yards. Its been a nice comeback by Williams but this not worth pursuing.
Golden Tate: 3 catches for 30 yards. This is a name to keep in mind here as Tate was a first round pick from Notre Dame who has a ton of skill. Tate could take off during the second half of the season so keep tuned to this.
John Carlson: 1 catch for 15 yards. Carlson has ability but he is being let down by the offense. I drafted Carlson but I cut ties in favor of Aaron Hernandez and so should the rest of you.
