Farmville is a game by Zynga that allows each player to have as big of a farm as her or she can afford. This seems to be the most popular game on Facebook. Here are some tips on how to succeed within the Farmville game.
Having tons of neighbors is always a great idea. You can visit them and gain money and experience for working on their farm. Ask all of your family and friends on Facebook to be your neighbor. If they load the game and accept your neighbor request, they do not need to open the game again after that. If that does not work then it’s easy to make a Facebook account to members of your family who don’t already have one. Just add those accounts as neighbors and then delete the FB accounts.
Every one knows the trick of blocking in your farmer so they stay put as you plow, plant, and harvest. Most everyone fences in the farmers. Why not be different and surround the farmer with hedges? I have seen a few players who put the buildings in the middle of the field add buildings and equipment surrounded by the fences. That gives the farm a unique look, so shot for that. If anything, it will make people ponder what you are doing.
It’s a good idea to put a fence around all those animals to. It not only looks better but this way a player does not need to travel all over the field clicking on animals to care for them. I have seen a few farms with the animal pens in the middle of the field. I bet the animal lovers among us would love to be trapped in among the animals as they go about their work on your crops.
If you desire tons of cash, check out the ‘walls’ of those players who post accomplishments often and pick up all sorts of bonuses. If you have more than a few friends, who play you can rack up some serious cash this way.
When your friends give you gifts in the game turn around and sell them. I always sell the animals and trees I get as gifts, because I don’t want to keep caring for them. Farmville is fun at times, but not when you have tons of animals to care for.
