The 90’s might not have held much promise style wise, but as for music the 90’s did have some great memorable songs. I have chosen just some of the ones that came to mind, of coarse there are many more great 90’s songs. This list just shows the ones that really stood out for me in the 90’s.
I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston, year 1992. This had to be my favorite song for that year. I would turn I Will Always Love You up on my tape player, now I feel old, and sing as loud as my voice would carry me.
Waterfalls by TLC, year 1994. Such a memorable song that flooded the radio stations and brought TLC into the spotlight.
Baby Got Back by Sir Mix-A-Lot, year 1992. A 90’s music list could not be compete without this huge hit. The song that everyone just had to sing to. And why not the lyrics are fun to dance to and sing.
Barely Breathing by Duncan Sheik, year 1997. A catchy tune that caught on and made the charts and won over many hearts.
Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana, year 1992. A good classic for the 90’s music list, Nirvana just had a way with music.
One Sweet Day by Boys II Men and Mariah Carey, year 1995. A beautiful song that sparked a huge buzz.
When I Come Around by Green Day, year 1994. Green Day had many hits back in the 90’s and still delivers great songs present day, what more could fans ask for.
I Don’t Want to Miss A Thing by Areosmith, year 1998. The song that was featured on the Armageddon soundtrack and is still known for the songs beauty.
Don’t Speak by No Doubt, year 1996. Gwen Stefani and the boys made some great music back in the day. Don’t Speak ranks as my favorite from No Doubt.
Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice, year 1990. A classic dancing song, my two year old son dancing every time he hears it.
You Are Not Alone by Micheal Jackson 1995. A 90’s list just couldn’t be made without one of Micheal Jackson’s songs being on here.
All My Life by K-Ci and JoJo, year 1997. Such a beautiful 90’s song.
