Mazes are puzzles in which the player must follow a path, usually with his pencil, through a complicated pattern. Mazes are great fun and make great lessons to practice eye-hand coordination. Here are free printable Halloween and trick or treat mazes. Puzzle mazes vary from complicated to quite easy.
Family Fun (click here) has a free printable Bewitching Maze. Follow a witch on her broomstick and help her get from the city back to her witch’s cauldron in the woods. The colors and graphics are bright and attractive.
Ghost House Maze (click here) This maze is a little more complicated. Help a lost trick-or-treater find his way back form a spooky haunted house.
Monster Brain Maze (click here) This maze is a bit more challenging. Igor has a brain and you have to find your way out of it. The colors are graphics on this maze a really nice; this maze would make a great poster, too.
Mummy maze (click here) Help the poor mummy out of his wrappings if you dare. If not, wind him back up. Either way, you’ll have to follow the maze to do it. Another maze with great graphics.
A Pumpkin Surprise Connect the Dots (click here) Not exactly a maze, connect the dots still make great educational games. Connect the numbers from 1-53 to find a cute surprise hidden in the pumpkin jack-o-lantern. This page has black and white graphics and will make a nice coloring page, too.

These non-scary Halloween and trick or treat games are perfect for preschool and elementary classroom and homeschool activities. Mazes make great Halloween party games and filler activities. Set a contest to see who can make it through the maze first. Mazes are perfect activities or special needs and handicapped children who may not be able to participate in some of the more interactive physical games.
