There are many websites that offer “Freebies” for new moms, I am reluctant to go to all of these websites because you never know which ones are secure sites or not.
The best websites I have found to request free samples and coupons are from the company’s website.
A few examples of these would be:
Diapers – http://www.pampers.com
Sign up with the “Gifts to Grow” program at Pampers Village; once you are registered the diapers you buy will earn you points toward rewards. When you register you can also receive samples and coupons.
Formulas – http://www.similac.com
When you register with Similac’s Strongmoms you will receive free samples and coupons for many of their products.
Most baby diaper and formula’s have similar programs, all you need to do is register for them.
I would register with as many websites that you can think of until you are sure what products you will use. You can always give samples and coupons that you receive away that you don’t use.
When I was having my children there was no Internet, so everything was done by mail. I found all of these offers in baby and parenting magazines. I did a lot of digging through these magazines and was amazed at what I found.
One of my best finds, I found out they are still offering for new babies and I am happy to share this with everyone. Ringling Brothers and Barnum Bailey Circus offers a free ticket for your new baby. It’s called “Baby’s First Circus”. The program is for parents of newborns (up to 12 months old). Once you register you will receive a ticket voucher by mail that can be exchanged for a free ticket to a performance anytime, anywhere, with no expiration date! You can also print a very special certificate that you personalize with your child’s name. When my kids were babies we received this certificate along with the voucher by mail. I still have these certificates in their baby books! I am so glad they are still offering this; I think this is one thing that I received that I will never forget.
The easiest way to receive free products and samples is to go to websites of the products you think you will use and register with them. It is as easy as giving them your email address and your babies due date. It might be a good idea to set up a separate email just for all your baby offers. I can remember getting formula in the mail from so many different companies along with coupons and after I picked the one that I used, I received coupons and free samples for about 6 months. Besides diapers and formulas I remember receiving bath products and baby dishes and baby toys. For a thrifty new parent with the time you can certainly get some nice things for your new baby for free!
