Harry Potter has been a large success, and “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1” is no exception. Many fans are gearing up to see the second to last installment of the Harry Potter Series. Lancaster, a southern California town, is no exception. The midnight release has already occurred at Cinemark 22, and the fans showed up in the hundreds. About eight theaters at Cinemark 22 were opened up to show the late night screening on November 19, 2010. At about 5:00 p.m. hundreds were already in line.
It is not too late to experience this phenomenon. Many people could not attend a midnight release on a Thursday night because they had work the next day. So expect Cinemark 22 to be just as exciting and fun as the midnight release was. People will be dressed in costumes from the movies, and will be very opinionated about what is going on in the world of Harry Potter.
Be careful on the release weekend however. At that point many people have already seen the movie, and may try to ruin it for those who have not by giving away spoilers. Some may be intentional, others may assume you already know or wanted to know.
To fully enjoy the events being thrown by Cinemark 22 over the weekend you should immerse yourself in the Harry Potter culture. “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1” is the seventh installment of the Harry Potter series. Many people are gearing up for this fun by hosting release parties of their own for friends and family.
These parties would consist of spending an entire day watching the Harry Potter movies in order of release. Some individuals may even read the books during a Harry Potter release party. As with all things Harry Potter, expect a themed party. Decorations, costumes, games, and themed snacks are common sight at these parties.
At the conclusion of the party everyone should rush to see “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1” at the same theater. Nothing is more fulfilling than watching the newest Harry Potter movies surrounded by friends.
The truly appreciate the Harry Potter experience you must immerse yourself in the culture. Go to the release parties your friends are throwing, and if you do not know of any parties throw one yourself. Everyone knows a huge Harry Potter fan. Invite them, and have a great time. Once the party is over conclude with watching “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1”, the first half of the final Harry Potter phenomenon on release weekend.
