Gene Simmons, lead singer of the rock band Kiss, was admitted to a California hospital October 24, 2010. Simmons had fallen and hit his head after fainting at the LAX airport according to sources. He was then rushed to the Centinela Hospital where he was kept overnight. After running tests it was determined that dehydration had played a role in the accident. He received a cut on his forehead that was seen bandaged, as he left the hospital in a wheelchair the next day.
Earlier this year Simmons had spoke out on healthcare. He states that he voted for President Obama but was not happy about his healthcare reform, foreign policy, or tax policies. On a Fox News interview, Simmons was seriously unhappy with Obama’s plan to grab the wealth Simmons has worked so hard to accumulate. Simmons has started a Life Insurance company called Cool Springs Life to protect the wealth of high-net-worth individuals. Hopefully he will be around for many years to come and not have to use either healthcare or Cool Springs Life. He will be able to accumulate more wealth and tell Obama to ‘KISS’ off for high taxes.
