Although the Co-op is still “months” from opening up shop, they are hard at work sprucing up the new digs on Putnam avenue for which the Greene Hill folks acquired a lease last month.
Work has begun, as organizers called for volunteers to come out and lend a hand on Sunday, October 24th to paint, clean, and organize equipment, reports The Local. While it is obviously too late to help out with this clean up event, there will undoubtedly be many more opportunities to help out in any number of ways.
They are also still recruiting members of course, and the community that is sure to blossom from this garden will be a boon for the neighborhood.
