The 2010 Grey’s Anatomy season premiere finally airs on September 23. The 2010 Grey’s Anatomy season premiere will also answer quite a few questions that remain from the Grey’s Anatomy season finale for season six back in May. The anticipation of the The 2010 Grey’s Anatomy season premiere has certainly gripped a lot of fans of the show, and rumors have been percolating all summer about where the show might be heading this fall. Now we are finally going to figure out exactly what the fall-out of having a shooter loose in the hospital is going to do to the cast. There are certain to be many emotions tied to what took place in that critical season finale, especially towards the characters that were killed off in the shootings.
Some of the revelations in the episode included finding out that Meredith is pregnant, but didn’t have the chance to tell Derek about it before the episode came to an end. The reason for that was the return of Mr. Clark, who had lost his wide earlier in the season when Derek had carried out the DNR orders that she had signed off on. It was a sad episode at the time, but it obviously left Mr. Clark very upset at the hospital that had taken his wife. Now he was back for some revenge, and as the episode played out, we found out exactly who his targets were going to be. He didn’t just stop with those targets though, but shot anyone who got in his way or crossed paths with him while he was carrying it out.
There were some storylines that came to some closure in the final episode, including Callie and Arizona confirming that they wanted to stay together, Owen wanting to be with Christina, and Lexi finally saying out loud that she was in love with Alex. This was done right in front of Mark though, who had been trying to work up the courage to resume a relationship with Lexi. That could be an interesting triangle as the new season opens. Owen and Derek were also shot in the episode, with Christina the only one who can save Derek, but while doing so it seems clear that Meredith had a miscarriage. Miranda had to deal with the death of Charles (the intern) right in front of her, and Dr. Webber was the man who eventually brought an end to the shooters tyranny.
Now we all wait to find out where the next season of Grey’s Anatomy is heading, and the 2010 season premiere is set to air at 9 p.m. on Thursday, September 23.
