In this guide, you will learn how to apply transitions to your photos and how to add backgrounds to your photos in PhotoStage Slideshow Producer. By default, the backgrounds behind the photos are black. You have the option of changing this to the color you want. You can also change the transition effect that is applied to each photo. In this guide, I will show you how to do both. Load the photo slideshow project you are working on and follow the steps below to apply transitions and backgrounds.
Applying Transitions to Photos in PhotoStage Slideshow Producer
We will begin this guide with applying transitions to photos in PhotoStage Slideshow Producer. In your photo tray, you will see the photos you have added to your slideshow. This is where we will apply the transition effects. Beside each photo, you will see the green arrow. Click the green arrow next to the photo you want to apply a transition to. When the box opens, you will see the transitions you have to choose from. Tick the circle next to the transition you want to apply to the photo. Then you can change the duration time to what you want. Click the OK button on the box and that transition effect will be applied to the photo you selected.
Applying Backgrounds to Photos in PhotoStage Slideshow Producer
Now I will show you how to apply backgrounds to your photos in PhotoStage Slideshow Producer. You will need to first select the photo you want to change the background of. Then open the effects panel and select the Text Tile tab. In the bottom of the Text Tile, you will see the background option. Select the background option and click the color box. When the color box opens, you will need to select the color you want to use for the background. You will see the preview change on the left. Then click the Apply Changes button to save the new background.
To apply more transitions and backgrounds, you can select more photos and use the steps above to apply a transition or a background or apply both.
