1. Plan Ahead
One of the keys to a successful times shopping is formulating a plan prior to leaving your home. Visit the websites of nearby stores and write down all of the items you want and which stores have them for the right price. Then figure out when each of these stores opens. Consider how popular each item you want might be, and determine which store it would be most advantageous to wait in line in front of.
2. Avoid Eye Contact
When you see the display for that 32inch TV you want and there is only one remaining, don’t look around. I repeat, do not look up to see if anyone else is looking at it, because you will lose your chance. Go for the item.
3. Always Have Your Cart in Front of You
For some unknown reason, people tend to throw away all of their morals when shopping, especially when shopping for bargains. Don’t let anyone be tempted to take the PS3 that the store only had 12 of from your cart- always keep the cart in front of you and in your eyesight. This may seem obvious, but I’ve seen many fall victim to greedy shoppers.
4. Price Match
Your mileage may very with this one, but it is always worth a shot. Many stores will allow you to buy an item before Black Friday and then come in with the receipt on Black Friday and get a price match to the discounted price. This helps to relieve stress.
