Chateau Lafayette Reneau
With a name like this, how could this winery not be someplace incredibly enjoyable to spend an afternoon. Encompassing 140 acres of vineyards, ponds, and forests, there is no shortage of things to do and things to try at this location on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail. They offer a number of delicious and delightful wines, including Roaring Red (made from a mixture of cherries, plums, and spices, for a decidedly smooth taste,) as well as a number of others. Chateau Lafayette Reneau has won numerous awards, making this an excellent stop on Seneca Lake.
King Garden Vineyards
This vineyard on the Seneca Lake wine trail is truly unique, and hosts a number of events throughout the year that feature some of their delicious wines. A number of wines of all varieties are on offer including such whites as Chardonnay 2003 and 2007 and such reds as Knight’s Blend, 2003 Cabernet Franc, and 2003 Merlot, as well as other varieties such as semi-sweet and speciality. The friendly owners of this winery are always on hand to answer questions, so you’re sure to receive a one-of-a-kind wine experience at this stop on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail.
White Springs Winery
The White Springs Winery is located just south of the city of Geneva, New York, and overlooks the beautiful and scenic Seneca Lake. In addition to a spacious tasting room and patio, you can also enjoy a fine taste of wine near the fireplace. A wide variety of wines are on offer here, including Reds (such as dry Pinot Noir,) Red Blends (such as Ron’s House Red,) and White Varietal (such as
Sauvingon Blanc.) With its combination of view and warm atmosphere, you’re sure to have a wonderful wine-tasting experience at this Seneca Lake winery.
