Fall is here and that means one thing… fun Halloween decorations! One word of warning, do not use ‘fun’ decorations that make noise.
This WILL annoy the staff. If you think it may not, play it 50 times for yourself. If by the 50th time, you are not annoyed, than it may be OK to use that decoration.
Funny and Cute
Good Halloween decorations are funny and cute.
I love the decorations that are about 3 feet tall and look like children trick or treating.
Some very cool mirrors look like a normal woman from one angle, and turn into a witch from the other angle. I saw these at Target, and they were under $10.
Spider webs can get a bit messy, but they add a lot of atmosphere for a small price.
Skeletons with funny phrases above them allow you to use creativity and create buzz around your work.
Getting Other Staff Involved
Getting staff participation is crucial. Staff love thinking of clever Halloween sayings especially if it is in competition for a prize.
It gives the staff something to talk about, and boosts moral.
This Halloween think funny and cute. Try to think of contests that get the staff involved. And remember, have fun!
