The Cobble Hill Blog recently reported on a “Dispatch” it had received from a canine fan named Georgia, who wanted to let blog readers know that besides liking Milk Bones, she would be participating in a special “Doggie Halloween Parade” in Cobble Hill.
The parade, scheduled for 3:30pm on Saturday, October 30th, will reportedly run “along Warren and Congress streets and Verandah Place.” The actual starting location is not mentioned, although Georgia does promise to be done by 6:00 and to stay out of Cobble Hill park, unless invited within.
The parade will also feature a costume contest with suggested donations from entrants of $10-20 to benefit a local charity called Seeds in the Middle.
Georgia also reports via Cobble Hill Blog that there will be all kinds of other prizes, free treats and dog friendly fun times.
Sounds like it should be a great event for all dogs and dog lovers alike, so check out Georgia’s Facebook profile to “talk” to her directly or just get more information here.
