Rather you are an adult or child, Halloween parties are great fun and a great way to bring family and friends together. What Halloween party would be complete without a fun variety of games to keep the guests laughing and having a good time?
The mummification game is a great Halloween party game that allows as many or as few people to participate as the host would like. It is a fast paced Halloween game that will be as much fun for the adults as it is for the children.
What is needed for the mummification Halloween game:
To play this game, you will need nothing more than an abundance of toilet paper and a few willing participants.
This game is as easy as they come, divide the guests up into groups of three players. I find three to four groups to be the best. Now select one person in each group to become the Halloween mummy. Tell the players where each group should stand and call the rest of the guests around for a good laugh.
Playing the game:
To play the game, tell the participants that each group will have a certain amount of time to make the best looking mummy they can by wrapping one group member with toilet tissue.I find two or three minutes works best because half the fun is watching the people doing the wrapping get dizzy and stumble around.
Instruct the players that the two wrappers must move in opposite directions around the mummy.
Tell them that if their paper rips to stuff the end back in somewhere and to continue wrapping.
Give each mummy wrapper two rolls of tissue and begin the countdown.
When the countdown reaches zero, yell “go” and watch the fun begin. People run around in circles so fast that they fall down and bang into each other. This is especially funny when the wrappers are dressed in Halloween costumes. As the wrapping continues you will see the wrappers getting wobbly because of how dizzy they become. Very funny.
When the time limit is up yell for the wrappers to “stop” and then have the crowd declare a winner by applauding for their favorite mummy. The winner is the one who received the loudest applause from the audience.
I like to give out a prize to the winning team. Anything will do really, just make it fun.
Don’t forget to take plenty of pictures and video to share with the participants.
Halloween party games are a great way to set the mood and get everyone in good spirits. Having a game every hour or so is a good way to break up the party and get everyone involved.
